TOP 5: NAILS! (PART ONE)

It's Tuesday and we all know what that means - another top 5! This week I'm going to be talking about my Top 5 Nail Polishes. I've called this part one as these are my top 5 lighter colours and I am going to be doing another with my top 5 darker colours. Lets get straight into it!

If you saw my Makeup Collection post then you'll know that I have an excessive amount of nail polish. When it came to picking just 5 of my favourites I really struggled as there are so many that I love.  I narrowed it down and came up with these - 2 from Essie and 3 from Nails Inc. (Sorry that there isn't a variation in brands here but they genuinely are my favourites). Also, just a quick apology for the pictures below - I rushed painting my nail so they look a little messy. Safe to say I take a lot more time and care when I'm doing them for real.

Essie - Fiji
This colour is my all time favourite. It's perfect for everyday and is so subtle that it would be great for work or school. It's a slight off-white colour which I think goes well with anything you wear!

Essie - Mint Candy Apple
Another Essie polish that I absolutely love!! This mint green colour is perfect for the summer time. It adds a little splash of colour without being too over the top.

Nails Inc - Porchester Square
This is a gorgeous chocolatey brown colour which I tend to reach for a lot when I want a simple wash of colour on my nails.

Nails Inc - Uptown
This is one of my more recent nails inc purchases and I think its stunning. I would say it's a cross between a dusty pink and burnt orange colour which I think is very unique. Again, this colour is perfect for every day wear.

Nails Inc - Lowndes Square
This last colour is probably my second favourite colour in my entire collection. I absolutely love wearing purple shades of nail polish and this one in particular is gorgeous.

Both Essie and Nails Inc are incredible brands, they're nail polishes are extremely opaque and they last such a long time on my nails. If you're looking for a decent nail polish that won't break the bank, I highly recommend you try either of these.

Would you be interested in seeing my top 5 darker nail polish selection? Let me know in the comments what your favourites are so I can check them out!

  1. These are lovely shades, can def see why they're your top 5. I'm looking for new polishes to invest in and I adore the mint candy apple shade - so totally going to pick that up the next time I'm by an essie stand.
